s/c cooling question

It's a toss-up between both. Intercoolers are almost maintenance free while watercoolers need more attention. Watercooler in sc give more psi per pulley and better trottle response for lower psi's they are better. Front intercoolers should be more consistent in power than water intercoolers as the waterIC usually sits in the engine compartment gets heat soaked quickly. How many turbo kits run water intercoolers? Put a precision or spearco up front and you can run more timing than watercoolers that get heatsoaked. With front IC you loose .5-2psi of boost depending on pulley but allows you to run more timing in higher boost settings offsetting the pressure drop. For running 5psi of boost might as well put a elbow tube as there's not much heat there.
In my humble opinion the most efficient, reliable SC set up is utilizing an A/C, upgraded heat exchanger if you like and water/meth injection. You will make more power per psi safely this way if you’re talking about maximizing your power potential. If your not wanting to maximize your power potential and run less then 10psi on the track, then I can see where an fmic may fit the bill if you would not be running water/meth injection.
