In all fairness guys... 300-250 rwhp is not like it's going to be slow and boring. It's all relative and depends on how much power you are used to and what setups you have experienced. 300 rwhp is plenty for this car... besides, that new roots supercharger that is coming out is going to be quite a bit better than the comptech and vortech.

Trust when I say 300rwhp in a SC isn't fun. Feels just like stock; maybe a tad faster at ~8k. There is no "push in your seat" feeling which probably accounts for this.

With a turbo, even at 300rwhp, your stuck in your seat with all the torque it makes.

haha- as much as im a fan of turbos- your statement is pretty bold. Ive been in both and I agree the turbo is pretty impressive, even to the point that Ive pondered selling my blower and going that route, but to say 300whp with a blower isnt even fun? and it feels stock? and only a tad faster? you serious?

yeah I strongly disagree with that statement. the CTSC makes a night and day difference up top, a little in the mid, I personally like that the S/C it retains the stock powerband characteristics. I think you just maybe a bit spoiled with your turbo'd S.....

Maybe its because I was in a turbo s2k before I ever sat in a SC s2k but IMO, the SC s2k felt like stock with MAYBE a bit more of top end. It was the vortech unit so it makes ~300ish and I just wans't impressed at all but again thats just me. I like the low end torque, which a SC doesn't have, so you definatly don't get that "push in your seat" feeling.

After installing my vortech the car felt MUCH faster! How some people can say its not much faster is beyond me!I made one pass down the 1/4 mile and turned a 13.1 @ 109mph with no launch. Not much faster eh?????Driving a naturaly aspirated s now feels VERY slow. And for all of those people who think i dont know how a turbo car feels just look at my sig.Happy motoring!
