Hmm...Well said. Spec, can you please list your setup for those of us whom would be interested in building a fast, reliable track car...done right.
Without the AEM EMS and headgasket, I still made a safe 360rwhp / 225rwtq and 9psi using the greddy emanage.
I also had it professionally installed by Inlinepro (which I'm sure helps reliability along with the cast iron manifold).
So far zero issues except the ones I caused which would be not fully sealing the oil pressure / oil temp sending units but that could happen to any kind of car

Hmmm.. are there any California CARB legal turbo kits? & whats this new SC coming out I read earlyer in this thread, will it be comparable to a turbo?
The BRP kit will be somewhat like a turbo (with the down low torque) but its only good for ~300ish horsepower where as a turbo kit can do 500+ if your little heart desires it.
[QUOTE=bigpurp,Apr 17 2007, 05:49 AM]This is a common misconception: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...f=142&t=431495.

lol 500hp sounds great but living in Cali, I just done want to have to worry about all the CARB legal crap and getting it to pass smog and everything else.
I might be moving to the bay area in a year for Post-Baccalaureate work and I'm going to keep my car registered here or get a P.O. Box in Oregon and have it registered there if I stay in Cali for an extended time. My car is beyond the point of going back to stock so there's no way the turbo is leaving.
