Get a ride in a turbo car that makes PEAK torque at 5k rpms (which doesn't include that gobs amount before that) and you'll understand why turbo guys say SCs feel slow

Sure you have a turboed car but it isn't a s2k, can't really compare

Im not doubting that a good turbo s2k will beat a supercharged s.I am however stating that a supercharged s IS much faster than a stock s. As far as a turbo s2k versus my gsr....It better be VERY FAST!!!!

hey there guy's I have to put my input on this.. I started out as n/a, then bought a used vortech kit and had it installed and tuned... I could keep up with most 600cc street bike's till about 100mph on the streets.. I sold my vortech b/c I blown the headgasket out of it.. Now I'm waiting on my custom 2.5mm headgasket and going turbo.. I just want to hit the 500 rwhp mark and I will be happy... but as far as I see this gose for the guy who dumped over 5 grand on his blower.. he should have asked everyone 1st what he should have gotten in the 1st place.. I wish I would have done that before doing what I did .. oh well

Exhaust Sounds...
For me Turbo just doesnt cut it for me on this account.

i first had a stock comptech, then a 14psi 380whp s/c and im now going turbo...


the amount of extra torque a turbo kit makes over a supercharger at the same psi can be prettty impressive

once you get the fi bug.. you only want more... and going turbo.. in the long run is cheaper and bigger numbers are possible
how could a 14psi SC get only 381WHP?

becuase superchargers ues power to create power.

Vortech units make pretty much the same power at 14psi as well.

hmmm??? I didn't really notice any noteable changes in my HKS when the S/C was installed.
