S2000 Differential Durability with SOS s/c

Sorry to go off topic OP
Joey is right, its all about not "shocking" the drivetrain.
I learned that when i had my evo. You can side step the clutch with slicks and ruin a trans, diff, transfercase in 2 days. Or you can run stock tires, get some burn, and pre load or roll off the line, and your trans/diff may last years with the same procedure repeated on a weekly basis.
Also, a very good stage 2 competition or sos clutch will save the trans as well. Solid hub puck clutches and heavy plates make every shft and clutch engagement harsh. Staying with a compound disc that is sprung will absorb alot of the intial shock to the driveline.

If you run stock tires, you can't use your horsepower (past a certain point) due to lack of traction. That's the definition of a dyno queen in my book = pretty numbers but can't use them anywhere but a dyno.
