Just out of curiousity, would a dyno run with the SC belt off provide numbers that mimic the car pre-supercharger?

if the belt is off, you wont hit boost, and you wont add the fuel/pull timing that is associated with boost. so no, you would not run rich and destroy the car. if anything, u may run a bit slower then na, since the air is being pulled thru a shitty NA intake now ROFL.

This is true.

Belts break, would suck if the motor went south becuase of a SC belt breaking. Wont happen. No belt, no boost, no problem.

Through my substantial awesomeness, I managed to break the belt on mine in the first week. I ended up running around with everything installed and no belt for about a month. Of course since I was essentially NA with a crappy intake, I used my old NA ecu map and tweaked it to run nicely. It was actually a real nice tune all things considering, but definitely slower than a stock S2000. So, no, running without a belt is not a major concern. Its a lot more fun with one though.

^ oh ok. hmmm i was told that it would run rich cause of the hondata reflash. i mean the engine is expecting all this air but no air cause belt is off.

anyways i actually ran my car without the belt becauase the s/c pulley bolt fell off and destroyed my belt. i didnt rev it pas 3k cause i thought id break my car. lol now i know i can a least drive it home if it every breaks down or something

Here's my dyno sheet of my SOS SC w/ AC.
2004 AP2, ~80000 miles, all stock except for SC.
Dyno: Dynapack 3000
Temp: ~70-75 F
Max HP: ~293 @8200 RPM
Max TQ: ~188 "
Max boost: 6.5 lbs "
I keep hearing people say Dynapacks should run high because it's measured at the hubs. If that's the case then my numbers look kinda low.

What do ya'll think?

Unfortunately I don't have a pre-install baseline dyno. This was done at Blacktrax Performance in Northern California. Looking at some of the previous dynos of stock AP2s from Blacktrax, I think the HP numbers ranged from 20x - 21x. If that's the case, My increase could have been anywhere from ~73 to 93 WHP...

what psi and afr? any other mods, exhaust?

Yeah your numbers are consistent with a bone stock 5.5psi Comptech/Novi 1000 kit with ap2 on a Dyno Jet (roller dyno)

I'm hitting 6.5 lbs of boost @ 8200 RPM based on my dyno file.

All stock parts aside from the SC.
