Jaw Knee!!!

Check out this vid. This one is supposed to "improve throttle response"...but I havent done further research:

I have bypassed the stock Bosch recirculate valve plumbing... essentially making the valve a BOV, I didn't notice much difference at 9/10psi, but my suspicion is that having it recirculate is optimum for throttle response and performance. My thought is a BOV on an SC is purely for effect.... or puffing rice, which ever you prefer.

i just did it for pure ricerness i wouldnt think it will affect the S/C as it "spools" up with RPMs. The S/C is louder at idle tho. youd think my car is broken but its not ill see if i can upload a video later this evening when i get off work.

So a few questions here from a guy who had an 05 with the CTSC and now have a 2009 GPW:

a) I have an older Vortech kit running the AEM EMS and has the oil pan tapped on my other 2002. Is it safe to say your supercharger kit will produce more power and better?

b) For your 2006+ kits, which kit should I pick if I want 380+ hp to the wheels?

c) What is included in your 2006+ kits in terms of engine/fuel management?

d) Do I need to upgrade my in-tank fuel pump like the old Comptech kit I had or with the newer cars I just need larger injectors?

e) I heard it's better to go with a normal oil return line vs your SL setup, is that true? I already have an oil pan that is tapped from my Vortech setup on my 02.

I already have my clutch upgrade so just debating if I should transfer the Vortech from my 2002 to my 2009 or sell it and buy your complete setup

Sorry for all the questions! I've owned x6 s2000s' now over the years and forced induction still eludes me somewhat.

thanks
rick

Does the SOS can be upgraded with a novi1500 without physical modifications ?

I am looking at getting a stage 2 kit. I am wondering if a upgraded heat exchanger and larger SOS throtle body will be worth the cost. I do track the car once every month or 2.

What power increase would I see with an upgraded heat exchanger or is it just to help cooling for track use.

Hey Chris
was thinking of stroking before SC but looking into it there is too much engine science being f@#ked with, piston velocity, dwell time at TDC, transitant response, rod/stroke ratio, etc So anyway I was wondering if anyone has just ever bored the F22C1 3mm over, new sleeves and pistons, wrist pins, rings, etc and through in a 3mm head gasket just to increase displacement (and torque) loering compression before boosting? Would probably do valve job too.

I'm hitting 6.5 lbs of boost @ 8200 RPM based on my dyno file.

All stock parts aside from the SC.
I'd expect about 315whp on A Dynojet. 325whp on your Dynapack.

Just FYI, I got 343HP on Dynapack and 300HP on Dynojet, I am guessing Dynapack read very very high. Sheeesh
