Druz: This will be interesting, I can't wait for the results. It looks like I have the same setup as you. Did you get a dyno baseline for your stock setup? If you did, then I will be curious onto what gains you get. Also, based on the photo, if looks like your aftercooler needs to be aligned more.

Also, the cooling system in my s2k had to be bled. I would do it before going to the tuning session. I fortunate enough to have BlackTrax tune and bleed my cooling system in less than 3 hrs.

Yeah, I did see how the aftercooler is sitting. I think i need to clock the supercharger down a tad. Since I was on base in the hobby shop, I just wanted to get out of there for the day! It's connected and not rubbing so I'll maybe fix it tomorrow if I got time.

As for bleeding the system, I'm going to see if they can do that at InlinePro tomorrow before the tune. Wouldn't want overheating issues popping up in the middle of it.

I did get a baseline dyno when I was completely stock: 207whp/146wtq. That was on a DynoJet down in Virginia Beach. So tomorrow I won't be on the same dyno. I will go back to the shop in VaBeach next time I'm down there though.

well as long as its a dynojet it is supposed to be +/- 3% between all dynojets. do you have the file from the dynojet run? get the file from the new runs at inlinepro and you can use winpep7 viewer to overlay them

i am excited to see this, i think your only the second or third car SOS hi boost to dyno on dynojet so this will be good to see. if i had to guess, 360-380 whp and its gonna scream.

as for bleeding, sometimes you get lucky just filling the overflow tank, run car and let all the fluid get sucked out then fill to correct spot again. this worked for me.

otherwise, its bleeder valve time. worst car i had troubles bleeding was 07 wrx. did a turbola swap on it. couldnt get car to bleed right. then it ****ing burped and blew all over the palce. after that, worked perfect.

Rick, the tuner at InlinePro, got it to 329whp. Apparently my nice, new HKS exhaust and the stock cat are holding things back.

He thinks he can get 20 to 30 more out of it if I upgrade those. 90+ temps in the northern VA area today probably didn't help much.

Either way, the car feels BADASS! Man it is fun to drive now!

really? That's pretty low. I was expecting atleast 350. Iv seen stock kw high boost kits with stock exhaust hit 350ish. I'd expect more out of the 1220 blower

dont be to concerned, it was on a dynojet. def swap out the stock cat for berk hfc. that should open up 10-20whp, not sure about 30 though. were u seeing a full 9-10psi at redline?

even with 330, i bet the car is fun

SOS Stage 1 After-cooled Kit w/ Self-lubricating option and Big-Bore Throttle Body

Installation
1 - Excellent packaging and labeling. All parts were very well protected and easy to find/identify.
2 - The instructions for the kit were very good. I had not done any modifications like this before on my S and it was not difficult as I followed the steps. It helps to have the S2000 Service Manual for the fuel pump install if you have not done this before.
3 - Fit and finish for the components of this kit are excellent. I never felt like I was trying to force anything together or "make it work". I did not have any leaks or problems from the first time I started the car and drove it.
4 - Installation time for the kit was about 12-13 hours. Being new to this, I took my time and double checked each step.
5 - The people at SOS were very helpful, both by phone and email during the installation and with a small problem I encountered after the car was checked on the dyno. The problem turned out to be with the dyno, not the car, so I do not have any numbers to share. Hopefully I will get this information later, if I do I will post it.

Driving Impressions
The car starts, idles and drives exactly like it did when it was stock until you mash the throttle. You can hear the supercharger at lower rpms, but it is not that noticeable in the car with the hardtop on. The power delivery is now very smooth. The VTEC transition is lowered to about 4500 rpm and it does jerk or kick like it did before. Once you get into boost (6,000 to 9,000 rpms) the increase in power is immediately evident, it pulls a lot harder than stock.
I definitely got what I wanted with this kit. My car feels and drives like it was stock most of the time, but whenever I want to use it, the extra power is there.
