Default Serial Gauge Calibration

Hi,

I've installed a serial gauge into my CT supercharged S2000 but I'm having a nightmare getting it to read correctly.

All my sensors are out of calibration so I need some help.

I've downloaded AEM tuner, connected to my laptop, selected Wizards, Setup wizard, telemetry, and 'matched' my serial gauge.

I've also downloaded Progauge and connected to the serial gauge.

The problem is I'm unsure of what values to put in when using the 'auto fill' feature under 'look up table' tab (Progauge).

Here is a screen shot of my sensor values off the EMS (AEM V2)

Now here's a shot of Progauge look up table for AIT:

What values should go in the top left boxes (Start cell & End cell) to make the unit function correctly, I've try everything I can think off???!

I can't get Boost/load, AIT and Coolant temp to read right no matter what I do.

Thanks

It's been like 4 years since I did mine. Lemme see if I can remember how to do it. It was cryptic and harder than it needed to be.

There are couple guides and very informative posts on here that should provide all the information you need. I'll get you started with one: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/946...#entry21640711

If you are trying to use extra sensors, this might be helpful as well: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/961...s-2-explained/

Thanks for the posts!

I've read Average Joe's post it was very helpful.

The problem is I can't enter negitive three digit values on Progauge's auto fill feature so I can entry my max and minimum settings. Average job mentions this in his post but I don't understand,

For AIT and Coolant Temps (I think) I need to enter in the digit fill values

0 = -128
255 = 127

but it won't let me!

Hotmail will not download the attachment because it thinks it's a virus, so I can't open it!

In my tutorial I put the exact values you need for engine coolant temp and I explain what to do with negative 3 digit values. Please reread that. Ect is a signed number and so is AIT. Just modify the values to meet the AIT sensor values.

I'll be nice...
This is from the tutorial...

You have to do this for each sensor as selected from the single gauge data screen, Not all at the same time,
but i want to put the values from my examples here
for coolant temp, you would set the digit fill values as follows:
start cell 0 = 32
end cell 127 = 260 click fill table
start cell 183 = -99
end cell 255 = 30 click fill table
Look at how i explained the telemetry info above to arrive at these values
the software wont take 4 digits (stupid) so you have to turn off the 4 digit places (-100 to -198)
to do this, set
start cell 128 = ---
end cell 182 = --- click fill table
