I have an buddy that lost two engines to methanol. I have never been a fan of methanol and if anything, N2O is the way to go.

Picked up a 4 BAR GM style MAP sensor. It will just swap, when I get to the tuners, with the GM 3 BAR I am running now.

Boost-A-Pump is in and set to 17.5 volts with 3 psi boost activation.

Were you able to install the new Vortech upper mount bracket?

The current one is still working fine. The new brackets are for later on when I know it will be leaking.

I just realized the boost figure is not correct. It was 1.85 BAR and that calculates out to 26.8 psi.

My map sensor is a 3 BAR so must limit boost to less than 29 psi.
Love the build sideways. Can you provide the math that shows how you got the Vortech up to 26psi?

I'm running the V2 w/ 3.8 pulley, which is about 15psi at 51k rpms on the S/C. If you go up to 60k rpms, that is about 20% increase in rpms, that would seem like it would put out about 20% more than the 15psi.

Does the psi increase exponentially at the higher revs?

I'd love to be able to push my S/C this high! Can you provide some insight for a noob like me?

Thanks for your time!

Well looks like I'm doing 23.5psi at an impeller speed of 60k on a 78* humid day. Stock header, 63mm test pipe and HKS dual catback. Were your outside temps lower when you squeezed 25psi @ 59k? With your open exhaust I figured you would have less restriction than me.

hvAlfaWant_S2000, here's the impeller speed calculator: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/page.php?id=33511

All you guys running regular S trim blowers should keep in mind that sideways and I are running T trims. I would say that it isn't safe to spin the S trims this fast. You can upgrade to the SI trim for about $750 from Vortech. That's the same blower as the Novi 1200 and will allow you to get ~500whp.
