Yes tuning is always the key and that's why I spent big bucks on a really good tuner and my stock engine still lives after a year on nearly 600 whp.
That is awesome, who did you use to tune your car?

600 WHP on stock internals? Holy crap, I'd like to know the tuner also. That's really cool!

Asura uses Laskey.
To our specifications...

Laskey Racing and Asura Design have been building engines for 3 years together.

I live right up the road from ERL and a guy I know had his F20c engine built buy them and has blown it up twice already. I'm not too sure if it's ERL or the tuner but I think I'll be going with Inline as I believe they can build my engine to withstand 700-800 whp. Not too sure if ERL can do this, especially at the price Inline is going to do it for.
Anything to do with a motor and the term "blowing up" goes straight to the tuner or installer.is a tough one to diagnose without being there and seeing what went wrong. Something must of been up if he went back to the same builder three times. Too bad neither he nor Sean could shed some light ont he subject.

I know Sean for over three years now and I know many people that use their stuff in the FI world. They have taken care of me every step of the way. I think we could go forever on engine builders that have had someone who knows someone that went wrong.

Pick the one you are more confortable with and have spoken with. I personally called each one and found issues with the big four. Everyone has their issues. For awhile some had delivery, others have horror stories but what sold me was the time ERL spent on the phone with me and the time they took with my motor to end up getting the job done right.

I can't mention his name because he doesn't like it given out but he does work for AEM.

My vote goes to inline pro. Jeremy Allen knows these engines extremely well. Ive seen him build an engine, He is extremely clean and anal when it comes to doing a build. I personally had a engine built by laskey racing. I cant say any complaints but after seeing Jeremy at Inline put together that engine I cant imagine anyone doing a better job or going the extra distance to make everything perfect.
