Wow !!

Are you running the stock fpr too !?!?!?

If I were you I'd do

Fuel pump
Wideband
Boost gauge
Retune

Nothing less

Even if the power was right

If you get a 320 pump I'd also suggest an adjustable FPR. You should be OK with a 255 pump, but the 320 pump was overpowering my stock FPR and causing my base pressure to be in the 60's.

Look at it this way... Even the stage 1 supercharger kits come with a Walbro 255 to run 6 PSI from Comptech.

Science of Speed states the OEM MAP sensor is good to 12 psi?

I believe I'm hitting some low numbers on my kit as well.

1220, 7psi (no leaks)
800cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
stock FPR
AEM 1052u

70mm test pipe
greddy se single exhaust

I made 292 whp at Autowave on a Dyno Dynamics

I'm dropping the car off next week and getting tuned on 11.5 psi. I'll be lucky if I hit 330whp.

yeah you need to get a good fuel system and wideband. hell I run a novi1000 at 12 psi and just put down 350whp and 235 lbs tq. aem v1, sos map, id 1000's, areomotive regulator and 340 pump with relay. you want high volume at lower pressure I will regularly run my car down to 2-3 bar on fuel with no problems just don't get on it when low.

Based on the 292 figure I think more like 350 but that's just assuming a linear power growth

DBW can run without a aftermarket fuel pump to about 450whp, then the limiting factor is the returnless system. On 00-05 you need a fuel pump for any amount of boost. The tuner sucks.

Stock map isnt your issue right now.

RC750 are not a great injector to run either, sure they will deliver enough fuel mated with the proper size fuel pump, but idle and partial throttle atomization and quality isnt as good as stock, coupled with a half assed running tune and you could be fuel washing your motor. Based on your fuel smell at idle, which is not normal, id say that’s a possibility. I would not drive the car any further, or drain the oil and replace. ID725-1000cc are fantastic injectors, I would highly recommend ditching the RC and running these if you care about having a better chance at a quality/reliable tune from the more inept tuners out there.

You also need a wideband so you can monitor your afr for troubleshooting situations like you are currently in, as well as just basic future monitoring for maintenance.

You’re down about 60whp and 30trq for your set up.
