Im curious as to where you heard this. After talking with OJR it has the OE header.

I do recommend this kit. It is SOOO smooth and quiet. I am having it re-tuned with the newly released Flash Pro as we speak. I should know my new results possibly late tomorrow.

Reading comprehension FTW!! I was talking about the SOS dyno that had a J's header installed, not the Kraftwerks Dyno.

3.6 came standard, I got the 3.4 after the fact. I probably should have gone with 3.2...I have quite the pulley collection going right now.
i have the stage 1 kit. i want to go to 10 psi on my kit. what pulley size do i need? of course im also gonna get flash pro and have it tuned. do i need bigger injectors?? (i have the 650cc) other than the pulley and new belt is there anything else i need?

I'm stock AP1 with 10psi and I am hitting 400whp on a Dynojet. My 362 is on a Mustang.

Something just doesn't seem right. If I had 18psi...holy carp...
I have low compression which is hurting me big time. All of the guys that run the SOS kit or any others for that matter have stock compression motors. So if I ran 10psi or 12 i wouldnt make dick for power!

Ive been thinking about putting high compression pistions back in my motor to get the power back up.

If your looking for a 3.2" pulley I do have one with the belt if you interested.

I'm not sure about yours since it's DBW AP2. I would guess 3.4 would do it, but you may want to confirm directly with SoS. The 650cc should be fine...that's what I have. Just confirm with SoS to be sure you're good.

I may have a 3.4 pulley coming available soon if your interesting...I'm looking at 3.2 now...darn this site and its HP temptations.

3.0 will overspin the 1220 on the AP1...either that or I shift around 8Krpm.

Your injectors are good to about 13psi, no worries.

Thats too bad, well you will make the same peak when shifting early, but you will make more mid range power.

True that. My power/tq maxes in the 8K-8.5K range anyway so I usually don't go to redline.

In the long run I'm working towards giving the crank pulley+1200 SC+lowered compression combo a try. I'm lining up the resources and beer drinking buddies to get it done for the spring.

Hey 518135...I shot you a PM about your 3.2.

Thanks for the info. This will be my first supercharged car so it is a whole different animal like you said. You gave me some information to think about, but I still think that I will go with this kit. I want something that has reliablity and once I start upgrading most of that is out the window anyways. From reading around 400whp is the breaking point. That is the breaking point of my bank account. So this should be good. If I want a drag car I'll go with a different chassis. Maybe a 70 chevelle. I appreiate all the info though.
Buy my kit. Like other's have posted.

To clear the air here....

Can the 1220 only handle 13psi? Because as Ive stated constantly, the 1220sl can handle 18psi.
