The Struggle is Real...Another KW Kit Issue
That's great news. CJ seems to be rather quick with his responses.

Just a little update. The car was inspected today and all of the pulleys were fine and intact. The supercharger was also spinning freely. CJ promptly responded to my email this morning and they are shipping out a new belt.
why? useless to purchase a kit and not use it. either sell it or install it lol. If your not tracking your car you won't have 90% of the problems most other people do. No kit is perfect for tracking a lot. All of them need some modification or another if you track hard.
This is silly. While you wait your warranty is ticking away, and the money you invested is slowly withering away. None of these issues are widespread, or even close to it. If anything does happen, kw is always quick to get it taken care of.

Just install it! No kit is perfect. If you look carefully at this forum you will find that there are issues with all of the kits.
KW has developed a kit that spans ten model years with three engine variations (AP1, AP2 and AP2 DBW). You bolt the kit on, send it to a tuner, put in pump gas (even 91 octane) and it cranks out 400+ whp with no other mods. That's double the power the factory car has.
It is a new kit, it is not surprising that there are a few kinks to work out. The problems reported with this kit seem to happen with a few kits - not the majority. Since it is a new kit, people tend to report the problems because they are new. Older kits may have similar problems but they are not reported because they are already known (example: VTEC bolts breaking with other kits as referred to earlier in this thread). Yes, there are areas that can be improved, but this should not keep you from installing the kit until no one reports problems with a car that has this kit.
If you have issues, KW will take care of you as needed to get your car running. Sometimes CJ at KW seems to get busy and an e-mail falls though the cracks, if you don't hear from him in a day or two send a reminder and he responds quickly.
