Hi guys I have a a few questions about the SC's One of them is comptech and vortech I just want the prices you got them I know i will start a WW3 if i ask which one is better. I just want the prices. and another question is how much was it to get them installed thanx guys.

 

Perhaps you will get better results if you post this in the forced induction section?

 

$4000 to buy a polished Vortech, at least twice that much by the time I uninstalled that POS money pit.

Don't buy Vortech if you expect any decent customer support!

 

Shop around and be patient. I waited about 2 months and shopped every where. I kept checking the GB section and teh FS section. I finally came across a guy who bought a kit, but changed his mind and couldn't get his money back. I stepped in to help him and bought an AC kit from HTG. I got out for under $4500 for the whole thing.

Installation can be done yourself, but I had mine put in at a local shop that specializes in Hondas. They also put in my new suspension at the same time.

The total cost including the new SC w/AC, coilovers, shocks, and installation was under $6000.

 

My experience with Vortech has been great. Wouldn't have gone any other way.

 

Vortech FTW

 

Vortech Kit new is around $4900-$5000

Comptech is I guess around $$5200-$5300

Installation is gonna run you around another $800-$1000
