Supercharger or Turbo?
Mine is supercharged but i think i might go turbo next year. The power is so unusable on the street. Unless your constantly in the upper rpm's then it takes a while to have the power kick in, its like driving a big 2-stroke. One benefit is since the power is so linear the car rarely loses traction.

But seriously, up the boost and then use the close ratio gear box for what it was intended, to shift!
Turbo makes cool whistling noises on the gas and Sc makes them wile cruising. The exhaust drowns out the sound of the sc on the gas, unless it’s a roots type. I rather like the sound of my sc cruising down the freeway or parking lot, it’s a real head turner. Turbo you never get to see any heads turn because you just left to make them

Or you can just throw money at that rear end until it can take it! Money makes even the most brittle relationship stable
Generally (and there are some exceptions depending on size of turbo and manifold) but if you want to make a strait line monster, you run a turbo. Big power for short runs are most practical. If you want to DD your car with useable/predictable power for canyon and road course runs, SC. It’s more difficult to finesse a turbo and be quicker with one on a road course. To me a SC that nets 450-500whp is really hard to beat, it makes enough added trq over stock down low to be usable and fast at the limit of tire adhesion, wile still delivering the explosive top end power for when you need it for the straits. Most turbos that can yield 500whp are going to have drawbacks to throttle finesse and modulation lower in the rpm when your carving the corners on and off boost.

Your right. And actually since switching to the ap2 rear diff, it has been great. Blown two ap1 diffs previously.

Thats what I did, I got a virtually new AP2 diff then had SoS reinforce it with the CT reinforcenents, J's pinion collar, all new bearings and afew other new tricks and its been solid since. But my wallet has been anorexic since too and hasnt been able to put the weight back on.
