Is there a max PSI on a log manifold?
I hit 552 hp on my log manifold on 23 psi using e85.The issue with logs are exhaust gas reversion since the f20/22 flows so well. This means you will lose midrange due to vtec being set higher. Logs are not a bad setup for lower numbers though. I went to a forward facing setup, and it is a night and day difference. Made the same power on 5 psi less boost and regained all the midrange due to vtec being set lower. I was able to hit 375 hp on 91 octane on 11 psi on a t3/60-1. You should be able to hit 400 hp, but that is probably the MAX I would push on a log manifold using pump gas.
Bringing a dead thread back. Contemplating installing my Inline Pro stage 1 kit this coming spring. Hoping to make 450whp with my Precision 6165BB turbo with .63 exhaust housing. I have a question though. I am going to do a V-band exhaust housing, so I was wondering if i could just order the bigger .83 v-band exhaust housing, and will it fit my turbo.
I'm new at this turbo stuff, so is it possible to switch A/R housings with these turbos???
