I am considering buying a friend's vortech centrifugal charger for my bone stock 00. I want to have a list of everything I will need to get the car going before I make the decision. I know I will need:

- the Supercharger
- Larger Injectors?????
- EMS
- Been planning on doing AP2 retainers and keepers
- ARP Headstuds (Just to be on the safe side)
- intercooler???

Am I missing anything?

Yeah keep the water/air after cooler. FMIC isn't good on a SC, too much boost loss and poor throttle response. A good size heat exchanger will be sufficient.

Do not mess with the head studs, stock is fine. Your better off leaving the motor alone.

If your planning on running more then 10psi, you will need a map sensor. 3 bar will do.

ID1000 injectors are proven and highly recommended.

 

Depending on how much boost your gonna push, you will need the pulley / belt for that psi, ems, bigger injectors, map sensor and a fuel pump. I also hear that an upgraded heat exchanger is considered a necessity if you are going to a high boost set up, which requires the large heat exchanger and a bigger water pump.
