Im not going to argue with you guys. Sure it would logical to have CARB cert. to increase sales but its not going to happen. Think what you want.

 

Friend of mine has a FD3, Single Turbo upgrade, just got the car back from a fully built re-build on the motor.

Black and white on the side of the fwy, friend rolls by. Cop gets behind him and pulls him over. Asked my friend if he knew why he was getn pulled over. My friend said no. Cop says that he got pulled over because of tint.

Cop see's my friends wide band controller, cop asks what its for. Friend says its to monitor engine temp. Cop see's the Top FUel gauges. Cop tells him to pop the hood and right when he saw the engine. He was litterally WOOOW. tells my friend to hold on for a second. Comes back with a camera and takes pics of the engine pointing and saying "thats illegal, thats illegal, and thats illegal .... and so forth."

Now my friend has a Ref ticket.

Jos engine bay is blingged out with all these nice and polished greddy parts.

Hope this helps, and this just happen about 2-3 wks ago. Now I'm scared to go Tuuuuuurbo.

Yeah that pretty much seals the deal. Here's to hoping for a legal turbo kit from Greddy...
