Tuning Options in Central Texas? What About E-Tunes?
I did an Etuning with Evans on my first turbo setup a few months ago. If you can't get to a dyno, Jeff will for sure take care of you. Jeff helped fix any issues I had and within 6 revisions, the car was done. Remember with an Etune, you're not going to get the full potential of your setup. I dyno'd 391 with the Etune but made 433 once I was tuned on a dyno. If I had to do the etune again, I would fully trust Jeff to do it. Also, you'll need AEM with a wideband connected to it so the AF's will show in the datalogs.
On another note, I think I've ruled out JMS Racing. They seem like an OK company, but I'm really unimpressed by a lot of the dyno graphs they have listed on their Instagram: http://instagram.com/jmsracing. You can see numerous small problems with some of those graphs (and those are the ones they feel appropriate to show off...)
Jorge who is their tuner, tuned my car about 2 years ago and the car is still running strong today.
Here is the link to my dyno graph when I had the tuned there..perhaps I may be missing something, but I think my graph looks very smooth. Not to mention the car drives very well on the street, and is a ton of fun when going WOT.

D3
BNB Racing
Inline Racing
JTran Studios
Those 4 are ones that I would go to in Houston. I am sure there is more, seems like there is a new shop popping up all the time.
FYI, Tony at T1 does not mess with Honda's any more. I spoke with one of the sales reps on the phone about a yr ago and "There is not any money in Hondas"
It is probably the truth, but not sure why they wouldn't even tune them any more. Oh well end rant. haha!
It's because some ppl only care about money and don't give a shit about anything. I wouldn't buy a damn thing from anyone that treats customers like that.
Just do an Evans étune. After my experiences I wouldn't trust anyone that doesn't have a speciality in my car.

So, not wanting to bash on JMS because I haven't had any personal experience with them (and FWIW, between the videos I've seen of their shop and at least their ATTEMPT at keeping the website fresh/up to date, it seems like they put in a bit more effort than Noribilt to keep things "clean"), but I think I'm going to leave them ruled out...
Evans E-Tune may be a decent bet. I wouldn't doubt their tune, my main reservation would just be that I would rather have someone on-site if something unexpected happens or if I overlook something with the assembly.
I'm going to call Stout today and see how things go with them, and otherwise I may delve more into the Houston tuning scene. I haven't had time to look into the full list provided by Irided, but D3 definitely looks promising.
Thanks for the discussion guys, I really appreciate it. I really do lol, god I love these forums.
Edit: For those wanting more reviews on JMS, this is one of the other reasons I've ruled them out. You can also read some of the arguments from S2KI on this forum. Like I said, the entire scene just strikes me as unprofessional and immature.

I've been to inline. Really nice bunch of guys and my S drives great. I had some issues on the dyno and they were extremely accommodating. My brand new aem fuel pump wouldn't hold pressure. Hui gave me an aeromotive one so we could get through the tuning session. You can't beat that kind of service.
He also gave me lots of good advice, all of which has proven to be accurate.

Still waiting on a call from Stout, but I think it's between Stout, D3, and Inline for me now. I think any of those 3 would be a pretty safe bet.
I'll update this topic afterwards, and probably piece together my full "build" topic

Have you considered D3 in houston?
I am getting tuned there next week so i can give some feedback afterwards.
JMS was also put off of my options list for the exact same reasons.

D3's website looks really nice, and it looks like they do some great fab work. If you're willing to share, what's the estimated price of getting your car tuned there?
I have had some minor fab work done by D3. So far their customer service is great. The shop is one of the cleanest. There seems to be "law and order" around there, i.e... no random people in and out of the shop.
Here is a Thread i started not to long ago that may be helpfull for you. Please leave your experience here once you get tuned!
