Go to a different Tuner. Thats your problem. detonation doesn't happen because of the exhaust.

UPDATE ****

SO i went to church automotive, and sean wasnt available.. TOD completed my tune(50 min). My new problem was that my clutch was slipping(on a greddy kit?) at around 6grand and he was not able to work out the issue. He stated that i need to switch to a stage 2/3 clutch and bring the car back. He stated that the car is still wanting to detonate at 6 grand(not sure why)... his only suggestions was to get a larger exhaust since i already have a TP.

My plan of action now:
-get a clutch
-get a berk HFC and probably a invidia v3(as this seems to work well)

then get a retune somewhere else....Anyone want to give me their maps? so i can use temporarily?

if the base is black afr is good, if the tip is white then thats typical of timing/heat issues.

lower egt's, or run a colder plug
i am running 1 step colder already from stock, i dont think i should go colder...

I honestly don't think you need any exhaust or cat change.
A test pipe and stockish exhaust should be prett good with the greddy kit.

if u have a test pipe then there is something else WRONG with the car. i made 300+ on a test pipe and stock exhaust. they are chasing the wrong stuff.

send me your calibration, maybe something is wacky with it.

going too cold is better than too hot on a plug. I always start with what i think is a heat range too cold, then go from there. a plug thats too cold will just foul up, a plug thats too hot will melt your pistons.
