Default Turbo on AP1 eith 100k miles

Hey Everyone..

So I have a AP1 S2000 that had the top part of the engine replaced at 97k miles.. now I have 107k miles..

The Engine tech said that it will be like a new car after I had the top part replaced and that the bottom part never goes bad. IDK if that is true but okay..

So now I'm thinking of getting a turbo kit for it.. Just 8PSI..

Would that be a good idea or bad?

What should I look for when installing the turbo kit?

research a little more on 'turbo' ing a s2k. Its not cheap and you need to have a good idea of whats going on so when it breaks you can fix it. why was the 'top' part of the engine replaced? and the bottom part of the motor can go bad.

"Top part" and "bottom part" ?

I think you may need to do a lot more research before you start doing something like Forced Induction.

I think a Used Greddy Turbo kit will solve all of your problems

I agree... Do some searches snd you will find a lot of info.... But a used greddy kit would be great for you if you only want 8 psi.. They are total drop in and a good way to introduce youself to FI... You should look into Joeyballs kit.. good deal...

The top part of my engine seemed new after purchasing a new spark plug cover, LOL. Anyways, you should read up more on F/I and basic automotive knowledge (not trying to be an a$$).
