Bosh are cheaper then ID and made by same company just go with the bosh 1000s and save/ sale that e manage and find a ems mine was picked up off here used for 650
The spray pattern on the ID1000s is superior since ID specifically modifies the nozzle on the Bosch injector to improve upon it.

They may be the same injector but the nozzle is superior on the ID1000 which is what has made them the bench mark in the industry. Go with the best or leave the car NA.

Do you really know anything about injectors ?

Have you flowed them ? Have you compared/seen the patterns ?

Doesn't seem like you have. Not personally attacking you.

The tip being modified "the ID way" does not really change spray pattern compared to another correctly modified tip bosch injector like FIC.

The spray pattern on any of the correctly modified bosch injectors are the same FIC/ID

OP - what part of CO are you in?

I'm going to second the PFAB kit. Pang (the owner) is a great guy and local if there is ever any issues (Denver area).

I have some ID1000's for sale (with plug and play clips) if you need them. I'm in the Denver area as well.

I will 3rd PFab. I just received my stage 2 kit from Pang. He was extremely pleasant to deal with and I full intend to continue working with him. Here is a picture showing the quality of his work.

I'm putting together a custom turbo kit for my 2001 s. I am on a lower budget and building my own kit is more cost effective for me.
First the car:
100,000 miles, ap1, engine still showing strong compression.

My goals pretty simple: I only want around 8psi of boost nothing crazy just a little umph.

Now the setup i'm looking at building: budget (3,000, for parts)
Turbonetics turbo (not sure ar houseing etc. yet)~$900
AEM EMS or emanage ultimate~700-1400 (I have the emanage)
Injectors~450
Oil feed lines, misc parts ~600
now here's the part i'm having problems with, the piping, intercooler
I am considering buying a ebay turbo kit, throwing away/reselling turbo, lines, wastegate,BOV
and using the piping and intercooler for my kit.
Its cheaper than buying the piping and bending it at the shop
I was hoping to see if anyone has had any experience with a ebay piping and or intercoolers?
(I can work with the piping i know it will fit like crap at first, but cut reweld etc.)
if you guys know of a piping kit/ intercooler setup for around 900$ that would be helpful
any input appreciated, its my first time assembling a custom kit and looking for advice. thanks!
bro, 900 for pipeing and interccoler? thats plenty. I bought a mishimoto s line for 250 and had a shop fab all my pipeing and powder coated it black and still didnt spend even 700. and the car holds 28 psi on a 67mm no problem and makes over 815rwhp. as far as the turbonetics turbo, I have to ask WHY? you can get a precision PTE 60mm for about 550$ and i can gaurentee your numbers would be more impressive even at 8 psi

I'd at least have to agree with everyone who said turbo and cheap should not go together. I can't even begine to tell you how many customers I've had come in with cheap 2-300 ebay turbo kits that they think are a great idea and end up spending another 2 grand to get what the should've gotten originally.

This isn't just S2ks I don't think turbo upgrades for cheap is a good idea for most cars.
