after doing a little digging i saw chefj had mentioned m8-1.25" long bolts. Is this what I would need to bolt up the downpipe to manifold. Thanks again

Stage 8 bolts is the only way to go. As ideugene said, its impossible for them to come loose if properly installed.

hmm, which satge 8 bolts? I may just put one on temporarily and then upgrade to the stage 8 bolts when they come in and change all 4 then.

M8x1.25 refers to the thread diameter and thread pitch in mm, not that the bolt is 1.25 inches long. I would guess that you are looking for some bolts about 25-40 mm long but I'm not familiar with the application you are referring to. Maybe someone else can post the length you need.

ya i confirmed with Chris at inline, they are indeed M8x1.25" 25mm in length

I got some spiderweb locking washers as well and see if they will work or not.
I'll let you know how it went once the car cools down.
