yes, turbo blanket is ur best and cheapest way to keep some of the temps down

you can look into vented hoods, or have a vent custom put into yours to your style liking

 

how about the OEM vented hood? looks nice, and it not hard to do

 

Im in South Florida. Cant get much hotter then here..ugh! My idle/riding around temps stay between 169 - 189 F'

I recommned...Vented hood, mugan thermostat and fan switch, wrap downpipe, FAL hp rad fans, koyo rad, samco radiator hose kit and Oil cooler.

 

I just ordered this custom snug fit blanket for my turbine housing. It's much slimmer than the bulky thing from Garrett. Only ran about $180 shipped.
