Oh yeah, another thing is that these threads should be in S2000 talk, not a technical forum like this.

I'll give you that Jakub. Sorry to come off so pissy but after seeing so many of these threads it gets irritating. My apologies.

I am sticking with a S/C because of the linear power delivery on the track!
Im not sure a supercharger is linear at all...its very parabolic, but without the dip after the climax. With our kits, you have full boost and very NEARLY full torque at 4,000 rpm, and stays very FLAT, like a "Line".

Here is a 2004 supercharged S's dyno:

Even with 10% less displacement, our kit still makes almost 40 lb/ft more than the SC 2004 S at 4000 rpm. And the two dynomometers arent even comparable, the dyno I ran on averages 170whp for a stock S2000 verse 200whp for the average DynoJet. I need to go run on a DynoJet and get some nice and lofty HP numbers...

Torque is what moves the car, gives you that "pinned against the seat" feeling. With our kits, you get this feeling right from 4,000 rpm all the way to redline, where Superchargers progressively build, to where torque hits at redline. Ive ridden in a supercharged car, its a very strange feeling coming from a quick-spooling turbo'd S. It would make me very un-easy to track a SC car.

In other words if a turbo setup is built properly, its can be made to be VERY linear, and VERY easy to drive...if you know how

<----- still learning!

Ya but you're compairing a EMS turob setup vs a stock SC system. Here is my vortech running EMS...not too much differant other than the differance in power between 400-8000 rpm...and that's the differance between full spool at 4000 and full spool at 9000.

My graph posted above(in my sig) is basically a "stock" power number. We have re-tuned the car nearly a full point leaner than the graph. However, it was on the street so no SOLID numbers. By the way that the car feels, I would guess we are seeing another 30whp. Also, a more efficient intercooler comes with the kits now
Once I can afford it, I am seriously going to run down to the local DynoJet(only 4 hours away) and take a few passes on it. Im betting at LEAST 10% higher numbers across the board than with the Mustang Dyno.

big power for the big boys? I would go for the SUV's e.g. porsche cayene turbo, cadillac or X5 not the s2000. LIVE LARGE FOR THE BIG BOYS!!! TURBO OR SUPERCHARGED it doesn't matter, whether the torque comes in first or at the redline, its still an S2000. If you smoke a car other than ours, we are proud of you. You made our car look better to everyone. I congratulate everyone whose got those extra kick in their car. Drive safely!
