Here here...all of the guys talking trash are just too scared to try anything new and crazy (which is what drives real innovation), regardless of what the traditional school of thought was. It's easy for them them to do what everybody else did, or just bolt something on that they bought off the shelf and think they are great mechanics. It's people like this guy that inspire others to try new things...I hope we see this guy around again.

That's not innovation. That's underengineering without grasp of basic fundamentals.
I'm not talking "trash." And I have one of the only straight cut sequential manual transmissions in an S2000 in the entire USA if you think I went the easy route.... But for our build, we had very specific reasons for picking the equipment that we did. We did our homework first, though. I could try putting a Model T drivetrain in a boosted Honda to be "different" but that's not what I'm talking about.

I dont see the point in this. The paxton wont hit max boost till top rpm. The turbo will spool to higher boost before the sc even has a chance to do any good at all. if it was a whipple/twinscrew/roots, then this would make sense, but it isnt.
Different? yes. Pointless? Yes.
