who wants a turbo system?
who would like a turbo system for their S2000? I am interested in who actually wants to pay for one...not just who wants one if it was free!!
I am seriously looking into building one early next year and am just wondering what other people think of a low boost (6-10) turbo kit. I know 10 psi is fairly high for the S2000, but isn't that high of boost compared to some turbo kits (25psi miata kits come to mind!!
). Anyway just curious.
Derryck: I know we are looking forward to your dyno results....approx 12.1 1/4...wup ass!!

You aren't getting many responses I suspect because this has been discussed to death... about 5 people so far have posted grand plans on how to make a turbo and very few have followed through. The best turbo that I have heard of was made in Jacksonville, and they seem to have passive plans on mass marketing it. I tried to get in contact with the tech who made it, but he has not called me back!!
This system runs 6 psi and makes 330 to the ground. This is EXTREMELY good, and liekly the best you can get on 6 psi, however it is a custom setup and I suspect that it is dyno tuned.
Apparently it also ran 10psi on racing fuel..
The bottom like is that if you make it they will come, but you're probably going to initiate a personal relationship with someone before they're going to cough up deposits for R&D..
The only turbo kit for sale that I know of at this point costs 10K, and I don't think anyone in the US is running it.. If you can make a kit for under 10K it will sell, no question about it.
