I agree on the exhaust theory. Like I mentioned during my tune. We first did a few runs with my silencer on (3 inch Megan exhaust, and 63mm test pipe) and only made like 243hp. Took off my silencer and did NOT change ANYTHING else, next run was 278hp

Hey that's my graph up there! Well I am having problem sourcing a replacement downpipe from greddy but I found a used one then I'm going to another tuner. I had a thread somewhere and people were mentioning raising vtec. So I'll let you guys know if a few weeks what my results are.

Theres several people on the thread hitting 280 with stock exhaust. guamie has an exhaust n hes at 230 but then again he has a pfab mani just like me . I think its the pfab mani is the problem n imma give the greddy one a try.

well something is wrong. I spoke to greddy today they told me that it should be about 285hp just bolted on, no other upgrades. why would they design a kit or who would buy a kit that costs 6000 dollars that would only give 40-50 hp? That doesnt make sense , something must be wrong.
285 hp to the flywheel, sure but not to the wheels. again, get the 3 inch down pipe, 3 inch single exit exhaust and pick up another map sensor to increase the boost. change the turbo manifold if you'd like but i don't see it as the culprit for robbing power top end. again, the stock exhaust is holding you back big time.
Where can you get the 3" downpipe and or other related upgrades?? i havnt been on the forums for quite some time - i appear to be missing some new modifications that can be done to this Greddy kit

i really dont think it's the pfab manifold. IIRC the pfab is only slightly bigger. it was my tuner. take a look at my thread.

anyone know why it's such a PAIN to order a downpipe from greddy? they wanted a picture of it on my car and the original reciept and some other nonsense.

I do will be testing some octane 102 fuel we can get around here. But octane ratings are totally different in the US/europe so i have no idea how "our" 102 will be compared to US spec octane ratings..

The car was tuned on octane 98 and i always tank octane 102, which makes the car run NOTICEABLY smoother up top
