I just mentioned this in another thread but these mounts lowered my engine ~1/8". I think this might be due to not running the OEM heat shields. There is plenty of room to add in flat washers or spacers if anyone wants to raise the motor back up. Now consider that I installed these when both of my OEM mounts were broken. So, maybe my motor with the broken mounts was sitting a tad higher ?? A case could be made that broken mounts would have the motor a tad lower?? Who knows, but I saw my motor go down ~1/8" after installing these.

Hope this helps.
I can confirm that these mounts lower to motor by approx. 5mm. It's because they don't need the oem top hats. Without them the OEM mounts would be at the same hight as the Vibra Technics.
The good thing is, that the intake arm under my the J's racing brace fits now perfectly. Before it toucht the brace slightly which looked kinda odd.

Really like the mounts.

I was studying the manual on this and these are the steps provided.
It's on the presumption that your are dropping in your engine and that left side bracket never got removed but I'll include that as step one anyways.
  1. Left side bracket, torque the four M10 bolts to the engine block (38Nm).
  2. Right side mount, torque M12 top nut (54Nm).

The Vibra techs do not have the alignment nub on top like the stock mounts do so I'm not really sure how significant these steps are here.
I'm thinking it's better to do the top nut last on both sides since there is some play there and you do not want your nice new mounts preloaded in any twisting motion.
