They did remove the black box and the car did bog down and it threw a cel so it isn't the electronics. But I was wondering since the ap2 box had a built in map clamp/map sensor would it be a good idea to get a map clamp and directly wire it to the stock map sensor?

Yeah if the ecu sees boost it will bog down and throw a cel. The blox map block is simply a metal spacer to hold the map sensor further away to hide the boost.
Edit: I actually have one I just remembered lol. $25 shipped and it's yours.

I don't ever have inspections so not a problem for me luckily. I still think the black box is probably the issue. You would have to try removing it and having another method of hiding boost while the black box is disconnected to see if that is the issue.

So Sarg, your still on stock injectors at 9psi? What psi pulley you have? I just went back and read your threads. At 8k your at 9psi? Bro, if i was you, i would look at your injector duty cycle if you can. You might be maxing out the stock injectors. Honestly bro, you need to buy a Aem ems. I just seen someone selling one on here for 700 bro. Im running 750's and my duty cycle is 70 something % bro. I dont think you can run 9psi with that pretuned box. But if your tuner can tune with, great. But if i was you bro, i would look at the Aem man. Hell, take out a small loan, or payday advance bro.

^Thats what the blox map block is. I used that before I got aem ems since I pulled the black box and vortech timing box. Hid the boost perfect but had some slight hesitations here and there but allowed the car to boost fine which was good.

Do you guys think its the blower? Maybe it has a lot drag but still producing boost and causing the engine to lose power from trying to turn the pulley
