How exactly are you reading boost levels ? Sound to me like youre not getting boost .

I'm beating the dead horse...EMS of some sort...most probable to eliminate your issue. Look for used if you don't have the cash for new.

If they are getting the readings from the manifold then that is right . I dont understand why its not making anymore power over base when its seeing boost . The split second boxes only pull 3 degrees of timing out . If the ecu sees any kind of positive manifold pressure it will cause the engine to stumble and it wont rev any higher . I have played around with these boxes and havent run into these types of problems before . What is the a/f ratio like while in boost ? If it is in the 9s then id try and unplug the 5th injector and proceed with caution on the dyno and see if things change . Other than that i really could not help you anymore other than being there .

The a/f is at 12 across the board. I am thinking it is the blower. I'm gonna have them pull the belt and do a run so there isn't any extra load on the crank pulley and see where I am at. We had eliminated the box and the exhaust/cat. All I can think of is that there might be drag on the blower that is causing the crank to not spin freely.

we pulled the box and the Car saw boost it bogged out and threw a cel. the via is reinstated back onto the car and it hasn't bogged or thrown a cel so it is working.

I am in the process of looking for an emu right now. aem ems isn't smog legal and seem overkill on my set up. what about the greedy ultimate with 750 injectors? I am just afraid it is mechanical and buying a emu wouldn't fix it.

Did you try 2 black boxes? Just cause it was pulled and then the ecu bogged down doesn't mean the black box is working. Means it could be hiding boost but could still have other things all jacked up going on.
If the blower is making boost I doubt it is due to the blower being bad.

Yea the new box is installed and that's the box they had pulled from the car which caused it to boggs down. I'm thinking that the blower has drag it is still producing boost but the crank has to work a lot harder to turn the blower which has drag to produce the boost and that is why there is no power. The previous owner put about 10k on it and no rebuild. Don't know if that makes sense.

Hmm maybe idk. Pull the belt off and see if it spins fairly easily. They should last a long longer than 10k miles. I bought my kit used and I have put over 15k miles on it now myself. Leaks a little oil but does not affect boost or anything.
