Default vtec pressure switch bypass

has any1 here ever tried bypassing the pressure switch?... found a few sites that says to wire it to the solenoid but thats on the civic/integra so im not sure if thats the route to go these are the sites i found

the reason for trying to bypass the switch is only to pass nyc inspection dont want to have to pull my sidewinder off..no i wont be going in to vtec when or if i find the correct way to bypass it just need to drive the car so the factory ecm wont throw a code

lemme get this straight. you dont want vtec to kick in at all while you have the stock ecu in? so dont go above approx 80% throttle and 6k rpms. bam vtec bypassed.

or do you have a piggy back on the car?

No i had to remove the pressure switch because of my sidewinder...it throw a code 1259...in nyc if the light is on ur car fail...im currently on aem so i dont need the switch..with factory computer its looking for it

??????? No1 has ever tried to bypass they're pressure sensor

Remote mount the sensor with a oil line connected to it.

Doesn't it just ground out when pressure is above the setting? I believe it's just a simple Hobbs switch. Ground out the wire for the sensor and see how it works.

i've done it the way that was done in the 1st link...on obd1 cars, never did it on an obd2 car tho...i dont see why it wont work, if you figure out the correct pins..
