Since no one really answered my other questions I'm just going to assume if you run a low amount of meth such as 10meth/90water the only tuning you should need is to adjust the fpr. And does anyone know the overall size of the ap2 pulley not measuring teeth to teeth but edge to edge I'm about to buy an ap2 pulley from someone here on the forums and want to make sure I have the ap1 pulley on my kit since I have no boost gauge yet and I tried my friends but his isn't digital and its hard to watch the analog.
I got 7.7lbs of boost with the AP2 pulley. I think it measures around 4.0" if I'm not mistaken. Someone correct me if I am.

forgot to ask, i was thinking of spraying this concoction thru the blower, since it produces heat and thats what i want to lower.

Thats pretty high for an ap2 pulley typically, more likely then not your boost guage is not reading accurate, this is comon, but the SOS pulley in the 4" gets you 8psi on the nose with an ap1. 4.2 is the ap2 pulley and 4.4 is the ap1. ap2 pulley on ap1 typically nets 6.5-7psi.

well after asking mark he said it was best not to try, since if the water doesnt atomize completely it will be an incompressable substance that the blower will try and compress. makes sense and i dont want to grenade the blower.

gonna install after the intercooler like u did and cool the air some more. just found a place to get meth too, 35 bucks for 5 gallons, but with water i can stretch it to 10 gallons, so per gallon its not that bad.

more fun in a week or so.

Yeah, you dont want to have it in the system before the air is compressed, its always after. Shouldnt grenade the blower or anything, but you dont get as much benefit.

^^^ The whole reason not to do it is so not to cause damage from my standpoint, if it can cool it off some then that better then not at all, I cant believe how hot it gets. Cooling it off has got to increase life and overall performance. Ideally you would want to run two injectors, one for the blower and one for the intake and tie it in on the same controller. But I

Ok so I recently installed my ctsc so happy with it! Gonna get an ap2 pulley asap. Anyways I am curious about the water injection since my ctsc doesn't have the aftercooler and I don't have the money nor the want to shovel out the money for what their asking for one. I'm looking to cool my intake temps and have been looking at the aem kit. I have done searches etc and keep seeing about hecash and fperra haved used water injection but can't find any def. answers to my ?'s and would like to get some fresh thoughts on the subject anyways.

1st. Can you inject JUST water or does it have to be water/meth. I understand you can get hp gains with meth but I'm not interested in that since I don't have any management yet and would rather not worry about having to buy it all the time besides water is free!

2nd. Besides hydolock is there any other risks injecting JUST water into the engine?

3rd. I was thinking I could fab up some type of cooler to make the water in the tank colder but would this affect atomization or anything else?
wanted to update you, i will tell you tomorrow what just water does. kit comes in tomorrow and will install and try with just 100% distilled water first. anything more then i think 10-15% meth will alter AFR. i am installing to mainly combat crazy temps in south florida. i will let you know what it does
