What HP to Expect from
Hey John,
As other have said no need to mess with the gasket unless the stock is cracked. My highboost vortech setup came with a brand new cometic 3mm headgasket but I will not be using it. From talking to people on here and Jeff Evans I'll easily reach 400 without any problems with the stocker.
With the ported mani and tb any extra airflow will always help with better flow and efficiency. I wouldn't recommend the 70mm test pipe unless you want every bit of horsepower (which you don't) due to the excess fuel smell. I bought a 63mm (they make a 70mm) Berk high flow cat that makes up to 80% airlow compare to a test pipe without the smell or problems with emissions with running no cat.
Let me know when you are going down to Evans since I will be doing it sometime in late spring. Can make a nice ride out of it lol.
Mike
