what's better
What is better, turbo or s/c? i've heard turbo because it can be upgraded (i assume meaning stage1, stage 2 set ups). but i thought i read that s/c is safer and gives you a longer engine life.. true? what kind of gain is had with each sytem (hp/tq)? will you get that low end power that s2k might lack?
If you want torque the S/C isn't going to cut it.
If you want more than 300HP you might as well go turbo becasue you're going to spend just as much on injectors, EMS, ect to get there.
Reliability is only going to be as good as the tune and equipment, an off the shelf S/C doesn't really require any but once you start trying to upgrade that kinda goes out the window.
I'd figure out exactly waht I want and talk to a reputable shop about getting there. If you have to ask then you probably shouldn't undertake either on your own.
