Why is it that my car failed on the dyno?
This dude doesn't even run a legit business....I don't believe a lawsuit will get him anywhere. Eric did not fill out any sort of paperwork prior.
I have no idea why he lashed out at my previous post, it had nothing to do with him. I merely stated some facts that 500whp is relatively mild for a stock engine, and he comes back with that shit.
and since you guys can't see it, my favorite Rollaquote from that thread "You can't tune a f@#king radio"
Oh and PS.
I am now offering s2000 tuning via telepathy!

LOL.
he probably forgot to change the boost comp table when he changed the map sensor... email me the cal.
with boost comp and a boost cut and a 1/2 way decent starting base ign map, an over boost wont kill the motor.

I had a similar issue with my X Tuner after getting a omni map sensor. Had it re-tuned for 14 psi from the stock wastegate at 10. Also added a manual boost controller. First pull, the car overboosted since he didnt set the boost cut and the manual boost controller didnt work properly. Guess when you change map sensors, it defaults to 41 psi since he said he had it set before at 12psi with the oem map sensor. Luckily, the motor didnt blow. He then blames me for the adjustable wastegate failing instead of him not putting a boost cut to prevent the overboost. Its funny how a tuner tries to blame the owner of a vehicle when they dont even do the necessary precautions before doing a WOT pull. They are the expert and should double check their work and take every precaution before tuning a vehicle.
Rik, sorry to hear about your situation ! I noticed when I changed to an omni sensor fuel cut load changes to 41.8 psi and not the stock 10.8.
Whats funny is he changed the rev limiter and fuel cut load is in the same table
That is one thing that I think AEM seriously needs to look into fixing. Anytime the map sensor is changed it sets the boost cut to the max pressure of the sensor. I'm guessing he most likely was not familiar with this ecu, changed the map cal, and forgot to set boost cut.
