will hondadata do programming for 06 comptech sc?
I doubt it. If they did decide to come out with a programmable ECU it would probably be the earlier years since they are becoming more affordable. I have a friend who is a HONDATA distributor
(LHT Performance St. Pete, Fl) and he told me that if I could manage 6 or more customers paid by deposit or in full for the ECU than that would give the guys at HONDATA incentive to complete the project since they would be competing with AEM who is controlling the market with their ECU now. Of course there would be a deadline etc. and a refund given if they were unable to complete it but I would be all over that if there were more potential buyers. I'm assuming vendor status would be needed to start a dedicated thread unless HONDATA signs up.

I'd be interested to know if they can come up with a unit as versatile and customizable as the EMS but still retain the OBD component for emissions...
Supposedly, Comptech was working with Hondata in figuring out the electronics-portion of their supercharger for the 06. (I read that somewhere here) What that entails exactly is anybody's guess, at least until Comptech and Hondata spill the beans...

Would this be a full standalone EMS like the AEM unit or would it be a piggyback setup like their setups for the B-series Honda motors.

I'm not sure but I wouldn't get it if it wasn't like the K-Pro for the k-series and since both engines are similar I'm assuming it would be a standalone.
