Not sure why you would need any of those "colored" wires under there. All you need to hook up those Defi gauges is "power" and "ground" and you find those near the fuse panel. You don't want to be messing around with ECU wiring for this.

PS. double posting is Pick a forum and post once.

My bad wasn't sure if this belonged in the Electronics section of the forums or the Forced Induction part of the forums...Sorry about that...Anyway what is the power wire that I splice it to, or am I just very confused? Please tell me where I can
connect my power and my ground?

You need to find a 12 live that comes on with the ignition, an earth, and a 12v for the backlight that only comes on when the lights do.

You can get them all from your car radio if you have a wiring diagram for it. Or maybe from the fuse box.

Or use these:

In "real life" .........................

Ground can be found on any bolt that's screwed into the frame. There's one just above the fuse panel with all kinds of other ground wires going to it.

Xviper, what did you use to connect to those terminals on the fuse box...And any idea where I can pick these up and how do I connect it to these clips?

I'm thinking you might want to find somebody local who has some electronics experience to hook this up for you. That or a visit a local shop and pay a few more bills to get these expensive gauges hooked up right. It isn't difficult at all, but if you don't know about crimp connectors or the spare terminals on the fuse box I would hate to see you ruin some nice gauges.

However, if you really want to do this yourself the connectors can easily be found at a local radio shack. You want "Female Crimp On Quick Disconnects". Look like this, female one is on the left:

Good Luck.

I've replied to your PM with some pics and additional explanations. Have you seen my thread on the installation of Defi gauges?

You may find other bits of information in there that might help you.
