maybe you need to clean the pads. they don't stick too well when dirty.

yeah i didn't clean my windblocker thing off, that's probably why it didn't stick.

Yeah, I bought one. But I think mine is one of the earlier ones. The later ones are polish aluminum. I might get another one though.
