Theres is 1 red bar that lights up in the gap between the red line and the regular orange lines when your gas gets down to 1 bar.

That's how it looks. I don't know about you guys, but mine is the crappiest fuel gauge in the world...

I can go from 4 bars to 2 bars in about 3 miles. Park, start up with NO bars, drive a mile and get one bar, rush to find a gas station... and as soon as I pull in, suddenly I have 3 bars again!
Hahahah I find myself doing the same thing.

Do you park on a gradient? If you do, that should explain your fuel level reading higher or lower. It's just resetting itself as you drive on a flat surface.

Parking on a slanted road (uphill or downhill) messes with your gas gauges... Or at least that's what I've been told. Sometimes I notice my gas go down to one bar and raise back up to two.
