I'm very anxious to see how smooth it feels after I sand the primer down. It was really hard to tell before I put it on there b/c the bare metal felt more/less slick than the spots that had paint so it kind of felt like something might be off a little bit I think I'm almost there.

New update - more pics to come. Here are just two cell phone pics.

I spent a lot loss time working on the fenders yesterday than I had thought I would. I haven't really spent any time on them in the last week. This was mostly due to trying to get my new wheels on the car and having to mess with the bumper/quarter panels so they would stop rubbing. Also just busy with other stuff and haven't had much time. I'm still shooting to have them ready for paint by the end of the month. Only took me about 2 hours yesterday to get the fender in a pretty good shape. This time I didn't touch the fender roller and it's making me wish I hadn't for the first side. I feel like the two sides are pretty close but the biggest difference is the bumper/fender transition which is no surprise at all I'm trying to find a way to use the hammer and dolly that is easily repeatable from left to right. I think I found a good way doing it but I won't know for sure until I go back to the driver side and try again. I'm not necessarily trying to copy anyone else's method of doing that transition to the fender. I'm basically looking for something I can repeat that looks smooth.

This is going to be done on my S2k but I haven't got balls as big as you to attempt something like this!
Its going to a proffesional experienced in doing this to VAG cars!
