Haha wow dude. Another guy who doesn't read. I really don't even know I'm replying to your comments, but I wanted to tackle this on a budget, I wasn't comfortable welding it, so I riveted. So I guess the moral of the story is, I'm perfectly content being "stupid." Maturity at its finest.

Where is the bashing? Yeah people are commenting on replica parts but that's because well, they're reps. Not too long ago Rota would sell rims with volk stamps and volk stickers. Yeah that's dumb.

Bashing would say your car looks like garbage. Nobody has said this.

^^ True dude. Not arguing that at all. Sad Rota would do that lol. But the title of the thread is "Forcewerks Flares Installed", and the first few comments were ppl going off that I used a REPLICA flare. LOL, the title said I used a Forcewerks flare, you don't need to tell me I used a replica or that I need to weld. Funny how no one asked how they fit, or how's the quality. I got the job done for $300 installed.

Okay, I'll bite.

How is the fit? What's the quality like? Can you compare to a similar setup using authentic parts? Genuinely curious.

Lolol. I see what you did there haha. Well, I really can't compare, but what I can say is they fit like poop right out the box. To be honest, it looked like both pieces were made in 2 different factories. One was significantly heavier than the other, and the other was really chunky/thick where the rivets are. So I did what I had to do with a dremel to sort of reshape the back of the flare where it meets the 1/4 panel. Other than that, they were ehhhh. But again, I'm happy for $205 to my door.

They look good man. Props on doing it yourself. I have shine auto asm replica overfenders on mines and the fitment was great.

Well there we are. This is one of the reasons why people 'hate' on rep parts- bad fitment and bad quality. So don't take it personally <3

Yeah yeahhhh, lol. You live and you learn, but again, after it was all said and done, I'm happy. I mean, fiberglass is always iffy out the box, but it is what it is. Thanks for the

props to you on doing your own work. considering doing the same to mine so I can fit a large radial in the rear. funny how everyone is so critical on how a s2000 should be built. its not your car, grow the f@#k up. see so many uptight s2 owners it blows my mind. if youre not using ASM parts and limited edition volk wheels then youre doing it wrong. smh
