looks amazing! respect for a great and rare piece. just curious as to how far down the scoop goes? does it end like the J's/Mugen intakes or higher up like the J's Type S intake made for the air inlet cutout on the bumper?

Sweet intake, glad you like it.

Everyone stay calm, I'm just voicing my honest opinion........ For $3000+ I could buy a lot of other stuff that would make the car just as reliable and safe but more fun to drive and faster than a CF intake like this. That is my opinion, which is also a FACT. I'm not jealous, I'm not hating. Simply stating what is obvious. Have a good day.

Ok... I feel like I'm taking the SATs all over again with the anaolgies, lol.

How's this one... Why buy a Rolex when you can buy a Casio or Seiko watch? Why go to Armani when you can go to Gap.

The watches tell time just the same...

The clothes you wear both fit fine and keep you warm or stylish...

why buy a v2 when you can buy an ASM?

Nice intake , i also spend alot of money on my intake (gruppe-m) .
Everybody was also talking about why spend so much money on an intake .
Well thats my problem .
I like how it looks , the quality and the performance .
You can not think that an intake like this will produce 15 a 18 hp (claimed by gruppe-m) thats bullshit .
But with the intake the car drives nicer below vtec and throttle response is greatly improved .
Before i had the AEM cai and if u compare it with the gruppe-m it sucks .
U really should feel the difference between those two its a day and night difference in throttle response . The AEM is a nice intake and produces HP and gives a nice sound but i prefere my expensive intake .

This is mine

I'm thinking you can turn the end of your intake towards that hole on the side. An extra thing you can do is attach some aluminum ducting to the end of the intake and run that towards the front of the bumper somewhere.

You'll have a cold air setup...

Try it out, tell me what differences you feel instead of drawing hot air from the engine bay...

Great idea I was thinking the same thing. Run the hose, tubing (whatever) to the fake brake duct, and cut a circle in the duct, and voila!
