Great idea I was thinking the same thing. Run the hose, tubing (whatever) to the fake brake duct, and cut a circle in the duct, and voila!

I already tried it .
It did not make any difference . Response was worse during traffic driving and at high speed driving it felt the same .
The intake is wel designed and i'll leave it as it is .
A read a test of this intake VS the mugen intake .
The gruppe-m was better till 8.000 rpm then the mugen , so more mid range power and the mugen more peak power .
If and when I pick up a 2004 NSX I am going to buy the $5500 Mugen intake. Thats right $5500. Deal with it....
Hey Bro, we are on the same page as far as all this goes.
But.. If your going to pay 5500, your getting screwed by an elephants penis
from King's (DISCOUNT Mugen Prices )
Intake System NSX Carbon Fiber [17200-XG2-K1S0]$ 1,750.00
On a side note, I was wondering did you notice any difference using the goto pipe?

I am talking about the entire NSX intake. The CF box and the plexiglass entire window.... Its over $5000, last time I checked.. My buddy has it and he paid over $5K for it 2 years ago..Goto is more of a bling obect. I noticed nothing..

turbo cars can never deliver power like a high RPM NA car can.
That is true if it comes to OEM turbo cars, the throttle response and power band is different.
BUT:
The s2000 is a non turbo, hight RPM, high compression car. Add something like garret gt30 to it (like I did so I know what I'm talking about ) and follow me:
We cruise at any gear, any speed, you are next to my turbo s2000 in your magical NA s2000 with a 3000USD tumor...we both floor it...my car is for a second a NA car (same as yours only missing a tumor in the engine bay), same as yours. Keep in mind that I have the same engine, same compression. A second later my car turns into a NA+turbo car having 30% more torque just above anywhere above 3500rpm and your car starts changing into a very small object in my rear-view mirror. And we talk 8psi here... What makes you think a turbo s2000 will " never deliver power like a high RPM NA car can" I still rev 9000rpm, I still have a 11:1 compression ratio so what's wrong with you That funny shiny piece of JDM bling was half the price of a proper turbo kit and you have no idea how the exit from a corner looks like with this type of turbo set up. I beat NA s2000s in autocross on a 1 minute track by 3-4 seconds!...keep it anywhere above 4500rpm (like if your tumor equipped car would pull hard under that number ) and the power is there in a nanosecond just like the "high RPM NA car"......my father always told me that if you have nothing clever to say, you better shut the %&$ up!

That is the grown version of my intake, very nice indeed
I hope the cooling plate gives you some 5whp and JDM points too. if you take it off and have a better look, there is a cooling plate...Honda made it for us and it's a part of the OEM equipment
