props for doing it... I think it would look better with some kind of body kit.... even a mugen lip.... just something... and rims too... that's the only downside to doing crazy paint, is it looks incomplete without the other pieces of the equation...

Looks like you got run over by a large pickup.
You need "road kill" plates for it now

I think it looks pretty good. However, I would have left maybe a 1/4"-1/2" border of yellow around the badges. I think it would have been a nice detail and really set it badges apart, made the stripe look like they were there from the factory. Now it kinda looks like an afterthought, with the stripes dying into the badges like that. looks decent either way I guess.
I thought about that afterward. If you look close though, you can tell it wasn't an afterthought. The badges were removed and the guy made sure to leave the edge of the black below the chrome edge so you wouldn't see where it stopped or started. The black literally goes underneath the edge of the badges. Here are some pictures of the masking while we were mocking up ideas. I had him continue the paint through all the recesses so you can't see yellow at the joints and hinge points. Every peice was taken off and masked to make sure there were no bad edges. The keyhole was disassembled and done separately as well as the bumper plugs (which I should have had filled, but didn't think about in time).

I'm all for the stripes, however, I think in this case a Rio top would have been a better choice and removing the windshield tape. You'll find that once you have a hardtop that you'll have it in place more often than you ever thought.
