can't say I'm a big fan of stripes on an S...they have nothing to do with the cars history and don't do anything postive for the lines of the car
Now that looks good!
would look super on a red one with silver stripes!
And chrome wheels.

It does look better than most of the other stripes, I'll give you that. However, I've never been a fan of stripes on most any car, save for the shelby itself.

That said, you are not the first person to say you are for stripes/opposed to CF. The other guy had the red with black stripes and said that the stripes were like his CF. With that in mind I can totally appreciate what you've done. Good luck with it man.

If I had an unlimited budget, I would replace the front/rear bumper, trunk and hood with CF. Then paint over it Rio Yellow, but leave the racing stripes in, only unpainted. That way I could have CF Racing stripes.

In general I like the concept. I've wanted to see an S2000 with basic racing stripes for some time now. Though there are a few changes I would have made.
  • Gap around the badges - I think we all agree on that.
  • I would have evaluated not putting the stripes on the front bumper. Just have them end on the hood.
  • I might have use the style of stripes that are on the side of that truck in an earlier post. Large center stripe with a pen stripe on each side.
  • I DEFINITELY would have had a hard top done at the same time.
  • And I might have gone with a black / white or blue / silver or even red / gray clor combo. Black and yellow look really good, but not my personal preferance. I couldn't see myself driving it every day.

Nicely done. It does look very good. Probably what I would have done for a first shot. Though I would come back in six months and make adjustments.

The ass on your car is definitely awesome. It's the front bumper I have problems with.

Thanks for the comments guys. No point in being defensive since most people here were nice enough. Someone not liking the idea is one story, someone calling me names for it is another. Most of the time, everyone in here is pretty well mannered unless the guy that's being critiqued can't take constructive critisism. I'm open to anything and knew that it would be one of those love/hate deals.
