I had to cut and buff my Integra after I had it painted too, it's well worth it though.

Yeah man, I mean the shop gave me a very good deal on the paint job, and included a wetsand and buff. But no matter what you do, they are still a body shop. And they will try to do the work as quickly as possible and won't care about anything else. To be honest with you they pretty much scuffed it a bit with 1500grit, and buffed it out to get the orange peel out. So I did not even say anything, and let them do it.

Just insisted on not sanding and buffing out too much clear off

I am planning on getting a DA sander with some sandpapers 1500-3000 then going crazy. And make 56k Death DIY thread

Once I get my stuff for the wetsanding project, I will post those up. Thanks to SS04 for helping decide what grit sandpaper etc to use. Can't get even close to how perfect his car is, but I still have to try.

Car will be dampsanded again with my DA Meguiars G110 with 1500 grit then 3000grit Discs. Then will continue with a 2 or 3 stage compound and polishing process. Should take 2-3 8 hour days hopefully. Starting within 1-2 weeks.

None of those parts go in the F20C/F22C

So after a good while, I finally got the car back. And it is time for an update. I apologize for not taking any actual pics of the whole car after it came out, but don't worry it was nothing special. Too much orange peel for my taste, on a few panels.

Here are a few shots I did take.

Here first time getting filled up, after i got her.

Then gave her a good bath,

Cleaning and putting back the interior.

Tried to steam clean as much as I could that day, the interior still has to be cleaned again though.

Then this happened

And here are some more goodies,
Needed some bolts, washers, screws, boot covers etc so had to stop by the local dealership. Prices were same as HondaAutomotiveParts.com after shipping so I said why not.

And I got these today, too. VERY VERY VERY EXCITED

Mirka Abralon 1500-2500-3000 and 4000 Grit Wet/Damp Sanding discs. Meguiars interface plate, and some compounds etc to fill up my cabinet again.

Big thanks to Ziggy Zack for helping me put the car back together. And also thanking

Kevin Brown
www.buffdaddy.com
(805) 478-1658 cell

for helping me get the right sanding discs, sending me great tips on how to use them, AND giving me a good deal. And once he heard about my build threads and s2000 project he added a lot more sanding discs for free. I highly recommend checking his website out, great stuff for sure.

And I actually did wetsand my front bumper, the before and after were just great. Starting on the wetsanding tomorrow, already masked the car's edges so I am aiming to complete it within 2 days.
