I completely agree. As long as you stay within the safe boundaries (all tires come with a recommended minimum and maximum width), are close to it, I don't really think there is a safety issue. Then, it just comes down to personal choice in looks. And, if that is the case, we could start a million threads over items we don't like about other's peoples choices.....

exactly what my set-up will be.

what tires where you running? brand and model of tire has just as much to do with the amount of stretch as the width of the tire and rim. my st115's stretched a hell of a lot more than the same size fk452's.
