How can one prevent or fix shift knob sagging...

My shift boot doesn't sag in my s2000. It fits very snug!

But, on my 240sx I used those clear tubing that people use in aquariums. Cut it to the size you want, put the console back on and done!

Friend worked at a fish store so I didn't buy anything. I'm sure you can use any kind of vacuum line if its big enough
